dark star is a small publishing company. Started in 1993, dark star publishing's primary "claim to fame" is its satirical tabloid newspaper "The National Harold-Gazette". All of the articles are original, most of them written by the paper's owner/editor. Hence the paper's byline: "all the news that wasn't fit to print in the first place!" The "The National Harold-Gazette" has been available in varying formats online for the past several years. More recently in .pdf format. Even though it is only available in the English language, requests for the "Gazette" have come from all over the world. Really! Truly! "The National Harold-Gazette" has no sacred cows; only barbecued ones. Everyone and everything is fair game. A sample copy in .pdf format can be found here.

A piece of advice: be sure to uncheck where it says "Yes, install McAfee Security Scan Plus - optional" before clicking the "Download Now" button.
